A spot of very simple mathematics to provide you with some none-too taxing homework this week; putting a trio of new taste sensations to the test. These three chocolate-and-cheese combinations have proved so successful in my own home kitchen that I thought it was only fair to share with you, too, dear reader.
Try before you deny that they’ll work at all, let alone wonderfully well. After all. as the Dr. Pepper jingle those of a a certain age will recall surmised an uncertain situation so succinctly; what’s the worst that could happen?

+ salty-sweet bacon jam
+ savoury rosemary oatcake

Honeyed milk chocolate
+ buttery manchego
+ spicy-sweet chilli honey
+ wheaty digestive biscuit
Choc-cheese combo 3
Vanilla-y white chocolate
+ ash-coated soft goat’s cheese
+ sweet-sharp, rich lemon curd
+ poppy seed cracker
